A native Android inspection app already supported serious field work - equipment inspections, defects, photos and offline sync. The client wanted the product on React Native so it could be delivered on iPad as well. We partnered on that rebuild.

The challenge

The existing Android application covered complex asset inspection workflows, including hazardous-area electrical and instrumentation inspections, but it was platform-locked.

The client directed a move to React Native so the same product could reach iPad users without maintaining a separate native codebase for each platform.

Our approach

Worked as a partner on a React Native rebuild of the field inspection app, following the client's technology choice and preserving the operational behaviours inspectors already relied on.

Focused on offline-first data, structured multi-step inspection forms, media capture and synchronisation with the existing backend - with iPad as a first-class target alongside Android.

Delivered a React Native TypeScript app for field asset inspections, designed for Android and iPad.
